Growing company builds on success with rugged duffel bag
One of the hottest brands in aviation, Flight Outfitters, launched its latest flight bag: the Bush Pilot Bag. This rugged duffel is the perfect complement to the company’s other three bags, offering the compelling mix of modern aviator style and cockpit-tested features that has made Flight Outfitters a pilot favorite since launching in 2015.
“This is the bag I have wanted for a long time,” said Flight Outfitters President Mark Glassmeyer. “The Bush Pilot Bag has that backcountry look but also has fully flight functional organization pockets that pilots need, and you just can’t find them in similar looking bags made by the Orvis or Filsons of the world. It really sums up what Flight Outfitters is all about.”
The Bush Pilot bag was designed for anyone with an adventurous spirit, and is equally at home in the back of a light jet or on the right seat of a seaplane. It has room for an extra headset and protective pockets for expensive aviation gear, but it’s also well-suited for use as a travel bag. There’s plenty of room for extra clothes or other miscellaneous items that don’t stay in the aircraft. It is a great multi-use flight bag.
The Bush Pilot bag is canvas with leather accents, and carries an embossed leather Flight Outfitters patch on the front. The inside has the signature Flight Outfitters orange lining, making it easy to find gear in a dark cockpit. There are two large, padded side pockets for headsets. The large front zip pocket has four organization pockets, perfect for chargers and other smaller items that tend to find their way to the bottom of other bags. The Bush Pilot Bag also features a pass through strap on the back to slide over rolling luggage handles and a leather shoulder strap pad.
The Bush Pilot Bag (retail price $139.95) will be available this August at leading aviation retailers.
