Aircraft sales were up overall, and Textron Aviation sold more planes in Q1 than in 2018, the General Aviation Manufacturers Association announced.
Cessna sold 28 of its 172 model in the first quarter, compared to 13 a year ago. The top single-engine plane sales went to Piper, which sold 35 Archers as that company continues to focus on schools and trainers.
