West Star recently broke ground on a new expansion in Grand Junction, Colorado. The extension of their current MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul) facility will add more than 109,000 square feet, including 40,000 square feet of hangar space, 38,000 square feet of office and back shop space, and an additional 31,000 square feet of ramp space.

Working in conjunction with Tectonic Management Group, West Star anticipates the expansion will be completed in mid-2026. All this is intended to meet the increasing demand for maintenance services. It will help support customers and employees alike and will equip West Star for long-term growth. The project will also boost the community economically.
