Airforms engine baffles for Cessna 177RGII Baffle kit now available for 1973-1974 C177B AND C177RGII Cardinals

Airforms, Inc. announced FAA PMA approval for the 1973-1974 Cessna C177B engine baffles. The replacement Cardinal baffles are eligible for installation on all 1973-1974 Cardinal C177B’s S/N 17701774 through 17702123.

Baffle kits now available for Cessna C177RGII too!

Hot on the heels of their announcement of FAA PMA approval for the engine baffles for Cessna C177B models (1973-1974), Airforms’ also announced they have received FAA PMA approval for the baffles for the C177RGII’s. The baffles from the new C177RGII kit are eligible for installation on serial numbers 177RG0419, and 177RG0593 through 177RG1366.

“We have continued to expand our coverage on Cessna Aircraft applications, and the baffle set for the Cardinal RGII was the next logical step,” said Hunter. “We work directly with our customers to hone an understanding of where we can best support the aging fleet. All of the parts in our most recent Cardinal baffle releases are designed for longer life and increased serviceability, and we are pleased to offer customers a price point near 50% off OEM list.”

Airforms baffles are available with either a bare metal or durable powder coat finish. The baffles incorporate design reinforcements with longer lasting materials, and feature reinforced Hi-Temp silicone seals fastened to the metal baffles with rivets. All baffles are FAA approved replacements for the original Cessna parts, and are individually interchangeable.

Airforms’ engineering department received the new PMA’s recently through its continued work with the FAA Anchorage ACO (Aircraft Certification Office). The new Cardinal baffles add to an existing product line of over 60 unique kits of FAA PMA engine baffles for a wide range of aircraft.
